The Opportunity - Project TAXPAT 

We are working with a Client to find a Canadian IT firm with substantial Tax Losses and one or more awarded Patents.  Patents pending for approval are also acceptable.  Our client requires BOTH Canadian tax losses and Patents in the companies it acquires.  Our preference is to acquire companies with no active operations although we will look at all opportunities.

 

Perhaps you have a client or know of a company that we should speak with.

 

Qualified Businesses:

  • Awarded or pending Canadian or US  patents
  • $1M to $25M in Canadian carry-forward tax losses
  • Preferably the company has recently ceased operations and has no workforce or is in the process of discontinuing operations.
