Kevin brings 30 years of hands-on experience working in North American software, hardware and professional services organizations. He’s worked with multi-nationals, mid-sized firms and has been the President and CEO of several software companies. Having successfully completed acquisitions for the larger firms he worked with, he used those skills to buy 3 companies in his own software firm, and then successfully sold the company to a publicly traded firm in 2003. Since that time he has invested in his own firm, using his experience in helping other entrepreneurs and boards of directors with their personal and corporate strategies with strategic acquisitions and sales. Kevin has assisted dozens of CEO’s and Shareholder groups achieve their personal and business objectives, whether to finance, sell, acquire, or merge with strategic partners. Kevin is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business, Chairman of the York Technology Association, an active member in a variety of tech related associations and a board member of several tech related firms.

Steve began his career with Bell Canada, culminating a 15 year career there as General Manager Ontario, Public Communications. Following Bell, he led two privately owned telecommunications services companies in the Toronto area. From 1998 to 2002 Steve was President and CEO of the first carrier in North America to provide high- speed data, telephony and cable TV services over a fibre-to-the-home network. Prior to joining Tequity he was the CEO of Atria Networks LP, which owns and operates one of the largest fibre-optic networks in Ontario. During his tenure with Atria Steve successfully led the company through a rapid expansion which included numerous acquisitions. A Chartered Director (C.Dir.) Steve has considerable expertise on the boards of public, private and not-for profit organizations, and his advice is actively sought by executives at a strategic crossroad.

Jim is a senior advisor, with an extensive career in Europe and North America, who specializes in strategic corporate development for the technology sector. Jim’s investment banking experience includes buy, sell, corporate divestment, MBO and fund raising mandates for clients based in Canada, USA, Europe, China and India including Mitel, Polaroid, DEC, ICL, Huawei and HCL. Transactions he has led span the areas of telecommunications, applied technology, software, e-commerce, and professional services with completed deals totalling $400 million. Jim also mentors early stage companies and participates on a number of advisory boards. He is a graduate of London University, with an honours degree in electrical engineering.

Wilf manages a considerable amount of the project details and logistics related to our client engagements and he brings a wide variety of experience to the team. As the owner of a software company, he was instrumental in growing it to achieve an eventual successful exit. He has held senior roles in sales and marketing with various technology organizations and has also held senior positions with several accounting firms. During the evenings, Wilf currently teaches accounting courses at Durham College. Wilf is a graduate of the business program at Wilfred Laurier University.

Diane's role at Tequity focuses on business development and partnerships and she brings a mixture of finance and technology to her role. Diane has worked for 20+ years in North American software, professional services, and M&A organizations and she has held a wide range of sales, marketing, financial, and senior management positions. Her progressive career has been with a diverse mix of start-up, large corporate, and entrepreneurial environments. Diane studied at the University of Western Ontario and the Certified General Accountants Association.
